Hi From Germany

Hi,
I am in Calbe, Germany. It is a city near Berlin. My host family is great! I am having a great time. My host family in Kellinghusen, Germany was also a lot of fun. My family was a 60 year old couple that played guitar, accordian, and sang. They also had a very nice piano. They were fans of Elton John, so when I played 'Your Song' on the piano, they got out thier instruments and played along. It was a lot of fun. My families give me a lot of chocolate, so I have a collection now. It is mostly German chocolate. I am having a great time! I will see you in about a week.

Hello Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Katie,

I am having lots of fun in Germany right now. My host sister is really nice, but we will be back on the bus tomorrow to head off to Calbe. Today I went on a bus tour of Hümberg and saw all the famous buildings and monuments.

I have not talked to Karen much, but I´ll tell her to look at the blog!

Hi Girls!

I talked to your mom on Sunday. It sounds like you're all having a good time and enjoying some new experiences. It also sounds like your mom and dad are going to have a challenge keeping you "reined in" once you get back. Let us all know what you're up to. What has surprised you most so far on your trip? Kelly, I'm guessing you're going to want to go back once you're 16, right?

Nice to hear from you. Can you tell us what you've seen/experienced and how your performances have been?

Air France lost half of Chrissy's bands music, so they performed without it for the first week. Thank God for "intensive week!"

How did you enjoy the witch burning ceremony? Was that the night that the sun is up almost all night? How's the bus travel been?

I hear the German girls like Motown!

i emailedmom and dad several times, but they seem to be giving me the cold shoulder. mom said this would be the best way to communicate with you. i tried emailing your old account, chrissy-redmond...... but i dont think you check it that often.
I´m in denmark right know but that will change tomorrow. how are you? are you having fun? if you have time ( which you probably wont, seeing as i am up blogging and emailing mom and dad at midnight because of moms complaint letter.) blog me back!

Surprise! We traveled to Rockford to see your departing concert.

What a wonderful Fathers' day gift! We were able to enjoy Chrissy's concert in Milford, and see her off on the tour bus to the Detroit airport. Minutes later, we were on our way (driving ugh!) to Rockford, IL to surprise Karen and Kelly and listen to their performance with the choir. Unbelievable!

Just when exams are complete and you think you can relax. . . Intensive week! Enjoy, learn lots, and have a wonderful experience. The house is quiet, but I'm sure your cabins aren't! Don't forget. Letters from your destinations will arrive in Brighton in just 7-10 days, so don't forget to write!
